The process of producing and transforming vegetable products guarantees the highest possible quality of the wide range of products proposed by Le Squisivoglie. Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, Continuous Training, Health and Nutritional Wellbeing and Attention paid to the customer are the stars that guide the Le Squisivoglie staff in the daily production of many carefully selected vegetable products that are processed, packaged and distributed by them with the same level of care and attention.
Quality and food safety policy
In order to meet the market’s growing needs, Le Squisivoglie S.r.l., has decided to implement a quality management system for the Company by designing, implementing and subsequently certifying a documented Quality System in accordance with the requirements of the BRC and IFS Food Standards.
To achieve these objectives, it is the Company's policy to:
- apply the requirements of the BRC and IFS Food standards;
- implement the requirements of national and EU legislation on Self Hygiene Control, applying and improving its own Self Hygiene Control Manual;
- guarantee staff safety;
- guarantee the authenticity of its products;
- prevent inefficiencies and achieve the required level of quality at the minimum cost;
- train all staff in the principles of Food Quality and Hygiene and make them individually responsible and aware of the quality of their work;
- measure the adequacy, compliance and effectiveness of the Quality System through internal audits;
- constantly increase the company's image in Italian and foreign markets through:
- constant attention to the customer’s explicit and implicit needs in order to satisfy them as best as possible;
- continuous research aimed at improving product quality standards and the efficiency and effectiveness of the company's Quality Management System;
- constant compliance with the customer's requirements in terms of the quality of the product supplied, the safety thereof in terms of hygiene and the agreed delivery times.
The Quality Policy is shared by all the people who work for Le Squisivoglie S.r.l., which shall also be done also through training meetings.
Le Squisivoglie has obtained some of the most important and prestigious certifications in the agri-food sector that help it to guarantee consumers the high quality of its products and the Company's commitment to continuous alignment with national and international standards in the sector, and namely the BRC FOOD - BRC FOOD GLOBAL STANDARD FOR FOOD SAFETY Certificate, the IFS - IFS Standard Certificate, the BioAgriCert Agri-food Certificate.
BRC FOOD - BRC FOOD Global Standard for Food Safety Certificate
Le Squisivoglie has been issued with the BRC Food certificate, which is a vital food sector certificate that sets strict rules about the management of product safety, integrity, lawfulness, quality and operational controls on packaging criteria that must be complied with. It is issued by the British Retail Consortium (BRC) and observes strict criteria for qualifying and selecting its suppliers. The BRC Global Standard for Food Safety is internationally recognised within the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) and was developed with the aim of defining the relevant safety and quality requirements, as well as the operational criteria that must be met by companies operating in the food production sector, with a view to meeting all of the obligations laid down by current consumer protection legislation.
Le Squisivoglie has obtained the new version 8 of BRC Food standard certificate, which, compared to the previous version 7, proposes the introduction of new additional and voluntary modules for food companies, with a view to customising the certificatin a more detailed way with respect to specific business needs.
IFS - IFS Standard - Higher Level Certificate
Le Squisivoglie has obtained the IFS (International Food Standard) Certificate, which is an important food sector certificate recognised both in Europe and throughout the rest of the world. The IFS Standards are uniform product, service and food standards. This certificate ensures that IFS-certified companies make a product in compliance with the customer's specifications and that the company is able to consistently and continuously supply high-quality products through recognised manufacturing processes. These processes enable products to be continuously improved and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, as well as guarantee total customer satisfaction with product quality.

BioAgriCert Agrifood Certificate
Le Squisivoglie has also obtained the BioAgriCert Agro-Food Certificate for the use of Organic Products. This is a coveted certificate that is awarded to all those operators who help to ensure and preserve an agricultural production and product processing system that aims to respect the environment, natural balances and biodiversity, and that seeks to offer consumers genuine products obtained as a result of respecting the natural cycle. This certificate ensures that the company is able to consistently and continuously supply high-quality products through recognised manufacturing processes. These processes enable products to be continuously improved and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, as well as guarantee total customer satisfaction with product quality.
Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility are always at the heart of Le Squisivoglie project

RECOVER AND RECYCLE IN THE KITCHEN contest, in which many cooking enthusiasts, chefs and food bloggers took part. They sent their original recipes, highlighting the concepts of recovery and recycling in the kitchen, which is understood as the enhancement of waste products, as well as the re-discovery of traditional dishes.
